Medication is often an essential part of mental health treatment. It can treat underlying symptoms in acute and chronic situations, and help individuals continue on their road to recovery. Medication can reduce symptoms and prevent relapses of a psychiatric disorder. Medications can also help individuals minimize cravings and maintain abstinence from addictive substances.

Psychiatric Evaluation - A diagnostic tool used by a psychiatrist to diagnose problems with memory, thought processes, and behaviors. Psychiatric Evaluation session will be around 45min to 1 hour long. 

Medication Management - A level of outpatient treatment that involves the initial evaluation of the patient's need for psychotropic medications, the provision of a prescription, and ongoing medical monitoring related to the patient's use of the psychotropic medication. These sessions last 15 to 30 minutes.
